Buddy Program

At Burwood East Primary School we believe that our whole school buddy program is an important part of the students' wellbeing.  It complements our school values and encourages positive relationships within the school.  Each buddy group, consisting of students from Foundation to Year 6, meets three times a term to participate in a range of activities such as eating lunch together, playing sporting activities and games, Leader in Me activities and focusing on the school’s values. The school also runs a 1:1 buddy program, pairing up Foundation students with Year 3 and 4 students, Year 1's with Year 5 students and Year 2's with Year 6 students.
