At Burwood East Primary School, we develop a range of activities to support each child and their family through the transition to school program. These transition sessions provide an opportunity for young learners to familiarise themselves with the school environment, allowing them to become comfortable with the physical space, classroom, and facilities of the school. Transition sessions also introduce students to teaching staff and peers, giving students an opportunity to form connections and friendships. You are invited to attend all or some of the transition sessions.

Meet your Teacher

Tuesday 9th December 2025 @ 9.15am - 11.00am
Students will meet their Foundation teacher for 2026.

While the students are attending their transition session parents will be able to attend information sessions covering a variety of topics that strenghten the parent - school partnership

 Parent sessions will be held on-site at 9.30am in the school library on the dates provided for our 2026 learners.
